CONFLICTS

Two conflicts are allowed during contract only if submitted by the deadline of MONDAY, AUGUST 24TH. Please email to candy@stagecenterla.com.
NO CONFLICTS are allowed for the audition, cast meeting, or within two weeks of performances (this includes DEC. 17TH THRU JAN. 3RD) Students will not be cast or participate in scenes/songs/dances that are taught on days that they have submitted a conflict. We encourage you to check the rehearsal schedule BEFORE sending in conflicts so you know what you would be missing.

ADD-ON T-SHIRTS

Your tuition includes a T-shirt for your participating student. But, if you would like to order additional T-shirts to show team spirit and help raise funds for SC’s SoPA, you may do so by clicking the following link: CLICK HERE

Deadline OCTOBER 15TH

Each additional T-shirt is $20 ($22 for 2XL and $23 for 3XL)

COSTUMES

BASE LAYER

All cast members are asked to arrive to the theatre wear a skin toned base layer (unless otherwise approved), that they will wear under their costume. NO WHITE!
Most holding rooms are co-ed, so the base layer provides some comfort for the actor as they transition into their costume/s. Actors has access to a private bathroom, if they prefer further privacy when changing.
Base Layer should consist of – Leotard OR Camisole/Tank Top AND Snug Fitting Shorts

All students will need BLACK Slip-on Jazz Shoes, unless noted otherwise.

 

MAKEUP (MORE TO COME ON MAKEUP SPECIFIC TO THE SHOW)

EVERYONE should have a neutral stage makeup face. Any video will recommend brands, but the important part if that you find what works best for the actor.
Stage Makeup is necessary to be able to see facial features and expressions under the bright lights of the stage. Otherwise the lights will wash the actor out and those beautiful faces will get lost.
