Our normal slate of classes take place over 12-weeks sessions each Fall and Spring. Enrollment for these classes may resume this January!
Triple Threat Training
This is a mix of experiential and skills based class. Beginning and intermediate musical theater students will learn the basics of acting, singing, and dancing. This class is perfect for students looking to give theater a try! No previous experience necessary.
Ages 6+ (recommended for Elementary and early Middle school) | $150 per student | Wednesdays 4:30-5:30

Musical Theatre Dance Styles – THIS CLASS IS CURRENTLY FULL AND WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING NEW STUDENTS AT THIS TIME.
Beginning/Intermediate & Advanced*
Students will learn ballet, jazz, and tap through work at the barre, across the floor, and combinations.
*Enrollment in the advanced class dependent on instructor’s approval
Ages 6+ | $150 per student | Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 (beginning/intermediate) & 5:30-7:00 (advanced)

Mommy & Me Broadway Babies
This is an experiential based class – Connect, de-stress, and move with your little by singing and dancing your hearts out to broadway favorites. We’ll explore our voices and move our bodies through musical games, poems, and of course favorite Broadway tunes. Weeks 1-4 will focus on the golden era using “Do-Re-Mi” from Sound of Music. Weeks 5-8 will focus on post golden era using “Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile” from Annie, and weeks 9-12 will focus on Contemporary Broadway using “Naughty” from Matilda.

Introduction to Musical Theater Homeschool
This is an experiential based class – We’ll explore musical theater from the Golden Era through Contemporary hits. The semester will be broken down into 3 segments with each focusing on a Broadway scene/song. Through these pieces we will begin to explore the three skills needed to be a triple threat: Acting, Singing, Dancing. No previous experience is necessary.
Weeks 1-4: Legit singing – “The Prince is Giving a Ball” – Cinderella
Weeks 5-8: Classical Broadway Belt – “I Won’t Grow Up” – Peter Pan
Weeks 9 – 12: Contemporary Broadway – Belt/Mix – Seussical – “Oh the Thinks you can Think.”

Skills Based – Pantomime, Voice for stage, Scene writing/work through improv

As our most advanced and dedicated students, members of our Junior and Senior Performance Troupe are our company leaders. Once admitted to the troupe, students take class in acting, singing, & dancing. Each fall, a new 15-minute production is chosen and rehearsed which the troupe then performs at the National Invitational Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta, GA over Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend in January. For 2021, we will forego the January trip to attend the new JTF Houston June 25-27.

*Troupe Members are required to attend class for two hours each Tuesday during semester.
Private Lessons and coaching in voice, piano, dance and acting are for students looking for more individual attention. Where group classes are essential to learning collaboration and responsibility, private lessons allow the performer to study at their own pace and gain a better knowledge of their unique strengths and weaknesses.
