Acting is only offered in the Fall Semester

The staff of Stage Center’s School of Performing Arts maintains the right, at their sole discretion, to continually asses students based on attitude, progress, and attendance, which may result in leveling up or down on a case by case basis.

Acting 3 & 4

Acting 3

Tuesdays – 5:30-6:30pm  – Grades 6th – 12th

During class students will:

  • Bond as a group
  • Continue to develop focusing and listening skills
  • Communicate information to peers via dramatization
  • Learn and develop improvisation skills such as acceptance of an offer, the ability to tell a story, strong listening skills, knowing when to end a scene, and being a team player
  • Imagine characters and develop movement to create characters
  • Work together to create tableaus, pantomime plays, and scripted work

$160 per semester

Acting 4

Tuesdays 6:30-7:30 – Grades 6th – 12th

During class students will:

  • Bond as a group
  • Continue to develop focusing and listening skills
  • Communicate information to peers via dramatization
  • Learn and develop improvisation skills such as acceptance of an offer, the ability to tell a story, strong listening skills, knowing when to end a scene, and being a team player
  • Imagine characters and develop movement to create characters
